DAY 6 - MORNING RUN

As an avid runner, I have made the time throughout my trip to go for a run each day. It has been nice to make the time each day to get an hour or so to interact with the natural environment in the each location I've been.  Even minor changes, like humidity, and terrain, are much more obvious when I am on foot, as opposed to speeding along at 60 miles an hour in a car.

This morning at the suggestion of Kate Hoff's younger brother, I found myself running in the Cowling Arboretum on Carleton Campus.  He had attended St. Olaf's and was a member of the running program, and his recommendation was spot on.

Gus particularly enjoyed it due to its ample opportunities to stop and cool off.
