Why did you choose to attend this school:

“I really wanted a school where I could major in theater, but also pursue other interests. I also wanted to be on a small campus for undergradute studies and pursue a career and/or graduate schoool in New York City. I really liked that I was the only student from Greenwich Academy who was attending Muhlenberg, although I loved GA, it was really exciting to have my own school to grow into.”

Muhlenberg is known for it's excellence in both the sciences and Theater and Dance majors. Sonya described the theater and dance program to be the “closest thing to an BFA as you can get.” Muhlenberg believes in the liberal arts foundation for all their students including the experienced and committed artists it attracts. For students considering majoring in theater or dance at Muhlenberg, they offer an optional audition process. This is a chance to get to know their teaching philosophy and to be eligible for a “talent based scholarship”.
